Computer classes result in plenty of paperwork, and taking photos of a Presbyterian church to the sounds of Finlandia.

Computer class paperwork

My days are becoming quite busy now that I’m taking the weekly computer classes at Te Whare Roimata.

Paperwork was the order of the day today with feedback forms for the previous tutor being organised, and sign up sheets for new people being arranged.

We had no computers with us today though, except for the laptops that people brought with them. We’ll be getting some in from Hagley High School next week to help out with that.

St Andrews Rangi Ruru Presbyterian Church

After the computer class I was immediately out to the Presbyterian Church to take photos of it, both inside and out, for their upcoming website.

It’s a lovely old place with some wonderful stained-glass windows that I hope to bring out well with some post-production work on their site.

Halfway through the photography a student came up to play the pipe organ. With Finlandia by Sibelius playing as I finished the photography, it became quite the special moment.
